Job description:A vacancy has become available for a Working Party Warehouse Manager based in Dubai (UAE) within the Customer Support perimeter.The objective is to support our Airbus working-party teams engaged on aircraft major repairs, specific structure/systems modifications, trouble-shooting or technical advisory on all Airbus aircraft families in the respect to the Part 145 regulations.The open position will be part of the Aircraft Embodiment Repair Department (AMESBCW) in Dubai and in cooperation with a worldwide Working Party Warehouse Network located in Europe, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Mobile.This vacancy includes:The Set-Up and Management of the Working Party Warehouse in accordance with Airbus Maintenance Organization procedures and EASA Part 145 regulation.The Coordination of all logistic aspects to ensure a smooth transportation of our Working Party tooling worldwide in the respect of customs rules and IATA regulations.To ensure the right application of our Metrology process and follow-up of all quality discrepancy identified during periodical/calibration check.The management of the tooling procurement process and deployment for our Working Party team in coordination with the Working party warehouse network.Tasks and accountabilities:Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Set-up and build-up of the Airbus Working-Party warehouse in Dubai in accordance with the Airbus standards.
  • Develop the IT tool to manage the warehouse stock.
  • Source required Tools and Materials from Airbus partner companies, which includes to monitor the procurement and from external suppliers or Airbus global warehouses.
  • Set-up the Logistics way of working in accordance with the local rules and regulations and based on the Airbus standards in place in the others warehouses
  • Support and coordinate with our part 145 tooling warehouses all around the world in order to optimize and harmonize the needs and common rules in link with global strategy from the different warehouses.
  • Interact with tooling suppliers by ensuring the orders, the goods reception and litigation in the respect of the procurement process and budget (Opex/Capex) allocated and in coordination with the Working Party warehouse network.
  • Support and control the metrology process application (calibration) and interface between the warehouse staff and Metrology laboratory in case of quality issues.
  • Participate and support regular Internal and External Audit in the frame of the EASA Part 145 / FAR 145 regulations.
  • Perform regular check of shipment preparation (package, packing list, pro forma) and coordinate transportation of required tooling to Working Party sites worldwide by being the focal point for the Customs (Export monitoring) and our Forwarder (DHL...) to ensure on time delivery.
  • Adhere to customs requirements by proper administration of import and export documentation.
  • Health and Safety responsible for working party Warehouse activities.
  • Contribute to digitalization / innovation projects.
Means:- Ensure customer satisfaction on Logistics, Metrology and Tooling topics related to working-parties in compliance with EASA Part / FAR 145.- Ensure continuous exchange with the Working party warehouse network in order to improve and develop our activities.- Ensure adherence to the planning and budgets in conformance with strategy and targets of Airbus Working-Party department.- Ensure constant exchange with all our customers/suppliers and alert on potential issues / opportunities to come.- Evolve and promote a feedback culture though the department in order to simplify & improve working methods for all working parties.- This role will involve some business travels worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth.Required Skills: As successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:-Ideally, you have previous work experience in the logistics business or aircraft maintenance, repair or overhaul activities - if related to material management activities.- Health and safety mindset as the number one priority (both people and product safety).- Good knowledge of EASA Part-145/FAA 145 regulations to understand working party applicable procedures.- Strong Knowledge of International Logistics activities.- You have a very good overall technical understanding of the aircraft and associated tools required (Structure/System/Avionic).
