Part of the Organizational Development team About the Team:We are the strategy design thinking muscle of the People team we are a small, agile team driven to have an outd impact by working collaboratively with the whole organization. We know people are what it takes to fulfill a mission and deliver a strategy. We focus on enabling people working at Careem to deliver the best work of their lives. Instead of the end-users of Careem apps, our customers are Careem colleagues. We may not develop software, but we treat the topics on our agenda as products. This means we apply a product management approach to design, test, iterate and deploy solutions to problems within the organization. What youll do:As a Talent Management Senior Manager in the Organizational Development team, you will play a critical role in running, managing and implementing the organizational effectiveness drivers linked to our strategy of being the Home for Awesome Talent. We are constantly transforming and improving the way we manage people across Careem. High on the list of topics you will be managing and leading the operationalization of are: Performance Management (incl. feedback, calibration and promotion processes), Business Goals documentation and tracking, Individual Development Programs, Measurement of People Management scores, Colleague Engagement, Values Adherence, among others. You will be key in ensuring that a unified and coherent vision is consistent across organizational effectiveness drivers, communications, and colleague engagement. These are topics of the highest importance and followed closely by C level management within the organization, with expectations on our Organizational Effectiveness processes and topics constantly increasing, requiring extensive work not only to run these topics at the highest standards, but also to continuously reinvent, simplify, and improve how these topics are run. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Project manage the planning and execution of the performance management and goal documentation programs, including user testing, program analysis and iteration, and change management support.
  • Develop and manage timelines and project plans for performance and goal documentation cycles and ensure that partner teams (HRBPs, Rewards, People Ops, People Tech, L&D) are appropriately engaged in design and informed and aware of logistics of execution.
  • Create and manage content on company intranet, training, and communications, ensuring alignment of messages and details on all platforms in partnership with the L&D team.
  • Project manage design, execution and analysis of performance management retro surveys and ongoing employee pulse surveys throughout the year.
  • Manage performance and goal cycle post-mortems, including trend analysis, and owning updates to design and team functioning.
  • Run the continuous process improvement program (Org as a Product) to identify and prioritize improvements to Careems working model and processes.
  • Partner with People Tech and IT for ongoing updates, input to tech designs, management of cycle updates and integration, and prioritization of new requests for external and internal tools used for performance management, goals documentation, and the Org as a Product program.
  • This role will also help us develop and document standard processes across the program, including managing our knowledge base, ensuring key process understanding across our People teams, and improving data management.
What youll need:This role demands a real passion for the customer, in this case, Careem colleagues. The role requires principled planning, organization, and execution skills, strong collaboration and communication with teams from different disciplines, and an ability to influence key stakeholders without authority. Qualification and competencies:
  • 5+ years of experience in project / program management. Relevant Talent Management / HR Business Partnering experience, gained in a fast-paced, international and dynamic business environment highly preferred. Previous management consulting experience is also highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with performance management, goal setting and professional development best practices.
  • Ability to distill large amounts of information into a straightforward plan
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to develop communication content for targeted audiences and company-wide messaging.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across different disciplines, and fostering relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to quickly establish trust and credibility with people in the organization ranging from junior to senior level colleagues.
  • Ability to use basic data analysis tools (e.g. MS Excel or Google Sheets) to interpret performance management data and use it to support decision making.
  • Ability to problem solve, think critically and creatively, and design org-wide programs and solutions to drive organizational effectiveness.
