Job Description

Our client is a leading Forex Trading firm with a strong operation here in Dubai, UAE - headquartered in the United Kingdom. They are looking for a Reconciliation Officer to join their team in assisting with the reconciliation process between each transaction in the business.Responsibilities:Daily oversight and reconciliation of client funds across multiple platforms, including third-party statements, SAP software, and Methodos reconciliation system, ensuring compliance with regulations. Supervising deposit and withdrawal processes internally, promptly addressing and resolving any discrepancies. Handling transaction processing within SAP accounting software. Verifying client data to ensure sufficient funds are segregated for covering client balances. Generating diverse reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis concerning client funds and balances. Organizing and conveying reconciliation data to Finance, Internal Audit, and Reporting teams. Monitoring financial institution and payment provider balances daily, identifying necessary settlements or transfers. Collaborating with various company departments and external parties to resolve issues. Assisting the Reconciliations Team Leader in compiling analytical reports.RequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field from a university. Proficiency in using computers, particularly Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on MS Excel. Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem-solving, and investigation. Keen attention to detail with the capability to recognize issues and see them through to resolution. Exceptional time-management abilities, comfortable with working under pressure and adhering to tight deadlines. Strong communication and monitoring skills. Familiarity with SAP accounting software is preferred. Familiarity with Methodos reconciliation software is advantageous. Previous experience in a relevant position within a Foreign Exchange (FX) environment is beneficial. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Content Management System (CMS) and its connection to client transactions is advantageous. Discretion in handling confidential information.
