Roles & ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints and technical drawings to create accurate metal components, ensuring precise dimensions and specifications are met.Use advanced machinery such as CNC machines, plasma cutters, and welding equipment to fabricate metal parts efficiently and safely.Perform quality control checks on fabricated items, assessing them for structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.Collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot design issues, proposing solutions that enhance functionality and manufacturability.Desired Candidate ProfileHigh school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical training or an associate degree in metal fabrication or a related field preferred.Certification in welding or metal fabrication from a recognized institution is highly desirable and may be a requirement.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a metal fabrication environment, demonstrating expertise in diverse fabrication techniques.Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints is crucial for success in this role.
