1. Responsible for the safe lashing /unlashing of containers on-board vessels.2. Places/removes a twist lock into the corner casting of a container ? 3. Lashes or unlashes containers to the deck of a ship using lashing bars, extension bars and turnbuckles ? 4. Affects the unlashing/lashing of all containers relevant to the port call on vessels - Assists with all manual labour required operation ? 5. Accompanies Health Inspectors/Customs Officers to open containers required for inspection ? 6.
