Position Scope: - The Finance Controller is responsible to support and manage the business analysis and controlling requirements in the assigned business area. Improvement of productivity and profitability by analysis, forecasts, and control fluctuating cost variances will also be a key responsibility.The FC will also be responsible to suggest implementation measures to monitor and control cost drivers and income streams, develop and distribute operational analysis models and control charts to be used by the business for the improvement and ongoing development of the business area assigned to.Main Accountability: - ? Supervise and control monthly reporting cycle and other associated reporting to the Group CFO and management.? Knowledge of Inventory /Global Purchase /Trade finance /Treasury /FX exposure is must. ? Providing commercial and financial support to Senior Management with necessary financial forecasts, reports and insights facilitating commercial decisions.? Timely / meaningful monthly, quarterly, annual business & financial (consolidations) reporting plus planning & forecasting? Ensure strict compliance of Budget whilst delivering services to the clients and highlight exceptions and other information as required to heads of each business? Ensure collections and payments within due dates? Supervise and responsible for completing statutory audit and assist Auditors in finalizing Audit procedures within set deadline, including VAT? Driving internal control standards, procedures, practices across all Business units? Ensuring adequate legal review policies of all contracts are in place and functioning? Participating in negotiations and reviews of all key contracts before finalization? Working with business unit teams to support their business; actively mentor and develop the team members.? Implementing improvements across IT to strengthen the finance operations.? Responsible for the management and implementation of company financial policies and procedures to ensure they are in accordance with the board and applicable laws? Ensuring staff are professionally supervised, trained and motivated to achieve the objectives through KPI?s agreed upon whilst providing the necessary guidance whenever required.? Oversee and review Monthly financials and recommend on variances as compared to budget and last year.
