Job Description

Document ControllerJob Location : Dubai, UAEKey Accountabilities:•Receive, register, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documents.•Maintain and update document control systems, including electronic and physical filing systems.•Ensure all documents are properly formatted, version-controlled, and meet company and project standards.•Track document revisions, approvals, and submissions in accordance with project timelines.•Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors for document submissions, reviews, and approvals.•Prepare and maintain logs and reports on document status, distribution, and outstanding actions.•Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards.•Free Workshop•Manage document archiving, retrieval, and security to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.•Support project close-out documentation and handover requirements.Experience & Qualification:•Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.•Minimum Experience:3 to 5 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in the construction, engineering, or architectural industry.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:•Proficiency in document management systems and software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar).•Strong understanding of document control processes, project documentation standards, and version control.•Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information securely.•Familiarity with project documentation requirements in design and construction environments.Generic Skills:•Excellent organizational and time management abilities.•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.•Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination across departments.•Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
