Job Description

Our client is seeking a DHA registered Midwife with at least 5 years? experience for the position of Clinical Manager or Lead Midwife. Our client is a leading community healthcare provider. In this role you will be responsible for all clinical management services as described below.Description:

  • Provide clinical input to strategic decisions affecting the functional area within nursing
  • Responsible for Clinical Competency Training management of all nursing staff
  • Implement, manage, and evaluate all nursing standards and procedures in accordance with DHA standards. Monitor staff attendance and leave in coordination with HR
  • Liaise regularly with the DHA and keep updated on any relevant new policies and procedures
  • Review clinical care standard for all clinical bookings, including regular visits to clients to assess and re-evaluate care needs
  • Clinical supervision of all registered nurses, conducting regular group and individual training programs
  • Maintain nursing teamwork, and promotes cross functional/departmental collaboration
  • Appoint skilled Team Leaders, set clear guidelines to achieving set company and individual goals
  • Manage nurses scheduling and Rota in collaboration with Admin team
  • Produce accurate profiles for all nursing staff
  • Provide leadership to nurses, act a role model and motivator
  • Supervise and train Team Leaders to meet clinical standards and nursing competencies. Set Team Leader role expectations for training and leadership of assigned teams
  • Meet nursing operations standards by contributing strategic plans aligned to corporate Strategy
  • Ensure nursing department follows company approved processes and procedures. Accurate clinical documentation is maintained and stored in accordance with DHA standards
  • Conduct performance improvements by maintenance of clinical knowledge, through internal and external (Medscape) training programs
  • Managing manpower objectives, as per strategic directives
  • Implement nursing incentives programs in collaboration with HR within agreed set budget
  • Maintains high nursing standards, aligned to our clients? values and behaviors
  • Ensure quality accreditation standards are met and maintained through performing clinical audits
  • Audits are conducted to ensure that risk management is implemented. Risks are identified and controls are implemented
  • Actively participate in clinical onboarding process, ensuring that appointed staff align with the clinical requirements
  • Maintains accurate nursing supplies inventory
  • Provide clinical nursing and midwifery content for website, for posting by Digital Strategist
  • Perform Clinical Midwifery homecare visits
  • Provides Lactation services as required
