REPORTING TO: Credit ManagerBasic Functions:Collection of debts from assigned customers and keeping their accounts reconciled and up to date. Maintain company?s credit exposure to the minimum.RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:ROUTINE JOBS1. Collect all debts due from assigned customers in time as per the agreed credit terms.2. Ensure that the assigned customer accounts are maintained up to date, reconciled and tallied with customer?s ledger.3. Ensure that invoices details of the payments received are collected from the customers and allocated correctly in JDE, so that a proper SOA of customers are available always.4. Ensure timely submission of Invoices and statement of account to your corporate customers and maintain the proof of delivery.5. Ensure that all invoices are generated and migrated to JDE correctly and in time. Conduct checks to ensure no items are left behind for invoicing.6. Take all necessary steps to reduce DSO of the company by closely monitoring your customer accounts.7. Ensure that the customers are contacted on a regular basis to follow up the collections and all the disputes and queries are resolved to the best interest of the company.8. Report the details of defaulting customers to concerned Sales executive, Head of Corporate and Credit Controller on a regular basis and follow up the matter with customer.9. Recommend for blocking of the customer accounts and pull back of vehicles to CC/HOC wherever needed.10. Maintain a list of those customers for whom vehicle pull back advice is given to Sales Manager and follow up their action.11. Provide accounts clearance for new lease orders and wherever a clearance cannot be given, refer the matter to Credit Controller.MONTHLY1. Monthly Ageing report by 5th of the following month.2. MIS report on defaulting customers and their payment status.
