Job Description

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage daily construction site operations and work executionMonitor construction progress against project schedule and ensure timely completionCoordinate between design consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliersConduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and code complianceEnsure strict adherence to Dubai Municipality Building Code and regulationsManage site safety protocols and ensure OSHA/DOSH compliancePrepare daily/weekly construction reports and site documentationMaintain As-Built drawings and construction recordsResolve technical and logistical issues on-siteLiaise with Dubai Municipality for inspections and approvalsCoordinate with Project Manager for resource planning and budget controlTrain and supervise site staff on safety and quality proceduresReview and approve construction materials and workmanshipDesired Candidate ProfileQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institutionDubai Municipality G+1 Approval/Classification (mandatory)Experience with Tarkees application system (MANDATORY) ? Dubai Municipality project managementMinimum 2-4 years of site engineering experience in UAE/GCC constructionProven experience in managing construction projects from foundation to completionKnowledge of Dubai Building Code, Municipality standards, and local regulationsTECHNICAL SKILLS:Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D drawings)Strong understanding of construction methods and building practicesBIM software experience (Revit/Navisworks) ? preferredExcellent quality assurance and inspection skillsAbility to read and interpret architectural/structural drawingsSOFT SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:Strong communication and coordination abilitiesLeadership and team management experienceProblem-solving mindset and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProfessional approach to safety and complianceOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Valid UAE Driving LicenseFluent in English (Arabic preferred)UAE Visa sponsorship requiredAvailable to join immediately or within 1 monthNEBOSH/Site Safety Certification ? preferred
