Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Planning & Risk Management, the incumbent will be responsible to identify, assess and develop risk management strategies in collaboration with UDST Business Units to assist them in managing their risks while enhancing overall performance and strategic planning.˙Duties:The ideal candidate will develop and maintain the Risk Management Framework and Risk Register for UDST. She/he will need to Develop and update the UDSTs Risk Policy, Risk Management Framework and Risk Register to enable units to manage their risks and support effective decision making and prioritization.The successful candidate needs to Monitor and evaluate Universitys performance against key strategic objectives and benchmarks and facilitate continuous improvements to risk identification and reporting across the UDST.The successful candidate will conduct extensive analysis to quantify risks to come up with adequate recommendations and ways to control or reduce risk. She/he needs to coordinate with relevant Business Units on risk related matters to provide advice on the actions that need to be taken across UDST while documenting and ensuring communication of key risks.The successful candidate will develop and implement a risk assessment model, associated system and processes to monitor validity of risk modeling outputs, in addition to gathering risk-related data from external resources and internally to be used for risk management and strategic planning.˙The ideal candidate will be expected to conduct benchmarking studies on risk management and strategic performance and best practices. She/he need to be able to Identify and propose KPIs related to risks and strategic performance. The incumbent needs to prepare reports and/or presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, or recommend changes.The successful candidate needs to facilitate continuous improvements to risk identification and reporting across the UDST. Similarly, she/ he needs to Coordinate with Institutional Research and Quality Assurance teams, HSSE, Legal, IT, finance and other business units on risk related matters to advise on the actions that need to be taken across UDST.
