Specialist - Family MedicineJob Location : Doha, QatarKey Responsibilities :•Provide medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.•Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, including physical exams, health histories, and screening tests.•Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including preventive care and management of chronic conditions.•Offer counseling on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and mental health as part of a holistic approach to health.•Perform routine medical procedures as needed, including vaccinations, minor surgical interventions, and diagnostic tests.•Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as needed, ensuring effective follow-up and continuity of care.•Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including family planning and health education.•Participate in health education and promotion activities for the community, raising awareness on disease prevention and wellness.•Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, complying with medical ethics and privacy regulations.•Stay informed on advancements in medical practices and treatments relevant to family medicine.•Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and specialists, to ensure optimal patient care.Qualifications :•A specialty degree in the relevant field, 3 years of post-specialty experience in a governmental, semi-governmental, or teaching hospital•Board certification or equivalent qualification in Family Medicine.•Minimum 5 years post of experience in family medicine, preferably in a clinical setting.•Strong knowledge of primary healthcare practices, preventive care, and disease management.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.•Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.•Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical documentation.
