DescriptionPosition at Al Jazeera Media NetworkJob Purpose Summary:The Senior Solutions Architect will support in the design and delivery of large solutions/services that span multiple domains. supporting the project from initiation to launch and interacting with all parts of the business to ensure a timely and quality service introduction.Key Responsibilities and Accountability:E2E Solutions Architect role requiring proven design experience and a focus on design completion, delivery and governance/ assurance.Creation of HLDs working with designers from multiple domains.Supporting designs through any ongoing issues and liaising with relevant teams through to successful delivery phase.Architectural governance - applying best design practices to produce high quality designs ensuring simple, cost effective solution delivery.Act as design authority - author end-to-end design documents and high level process flows, vendor assessment and selection, package evaluation and roadmap definitions. Reviewing and approving design docs.Operational Assurance - support cross-functional teams to ensure capacity and in-life performance of solutions is optimised and meet operational KPIs.Technology Strategy - generate new and innovative ideas and concepts for services to support business roadmap and strategy.Develop effective and mutually-beneficial relationships with key.Build annual budgets with clear justifications and business benefits platform and application vendors aimed at influencing product road-maps to ensure that key technical requirements are supported by suppliers to deliver capabilities and solutions with a keen eye on minimizing capital and operational expenditure in support of company plan objectivesJob Requirements / Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Computer engineering or equivalent.Certification in relevant Technologies is preferred.Knowledge of Network, Systems, Security, and Broadcast is preferred.8 years of experience within IT domain.
