Task and Duties? Assume responsibility and represent DNDD and Design Department for all aspects related to drainage.? Provide leadership in all relevant departmental functions? Lead external and internal coordination pertinent to drainage? Review, comment, recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants ?submissions? Comprehensive responsibility for management and control of related function in in-house projects, including detailed scope definition and initiation, work progress and completion and staff management. ? Liaise with utilities provides and other stake holdersQualifications and Experience? Bsc/ BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute? CEng, PE, PEng or equivalent Chartership is a plus? 15 years of demonstrable experience in design and construction of infrastructure projects with satisfactory exposure? Very good knowledge and experience with international and GCC design and construction code? Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience with management capacity ? Working knowledge of written and spoken Arabic would be advantageous? Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills? Qualification in Project management is considered an advantage.? Extensive experience in the design and construction of large / regional road networks and utility systems within his discipline? Experienced in Contract administration and knowledge of international type of contracts e.g. FIDIC? Preparation and evaluation of contract documents for road networks & drainage schemes. Capable of preparing design briefs for consultant briefs for Consultancy PSAs? Ability to deal with claims and variations of contractual naturesend your CV to m.masaga@brunel.net
