As a Data Scientist, the you will be responsible for analyzing banking data and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes and drive business growth. You will also be involved in implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.Key Responsibilities:? Analyze banking data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that can provide actionable insights.? Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to predict customer behavior, identify risks, or optimize business processes.? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to define data requirements and develop solutions.? Interpret and communicate complex data analysis results to non-technical stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions.? Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in data science, and propose innovative approaches to solve business problems.? Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy in data analysis.? Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies, tools, or frameworks that enhance data analytics capabilities.? Ensure data privacy and security protocols are followed throughout the data analysis process.Certifications:Professional certifications in relevant areas such as Data Science, Machine Learning, or Analytics (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate) are highly desirable.Requirements:? Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Math, Economics, or Statistics? Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the banking industry.? Strong expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques.? Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.? Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.? Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive is a plus.? Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.? Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.? Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.?
