Position Summary:The Senior Business Planning Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing business planning processes. This resource will be involved in the management of teams, supervision of business operations, designing of strategic plans based on forecasts, and provision of improvement recommendations.Principal Accountabilities:? Defines, develops and implements business planning processes.? Coordinates and manages cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods.? Develops and implements best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives.? Align strategic plans with annual business planning activities? Ensure the logic, accuracy, and appropriate scope of fact-bases with which to inform strategic analyses? Interact with senior leaders in the organization and assist in the execution of business initiatives that will drive business operations? Assists management in both operations and support functions in the rollout of the business planning process.? Assists in preparing strategic plan by analyzing trends and forecast.? Maintains in-depth knowledge of market dynamics such as competitor analysis, market share, demographic trends, and growth projections.? Identifies business issues / pain-areas and provides recommendations for improvements.? Understands business direction and needs and develops solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts.? Help to synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative analyses into key trends, implications, and/or recommendations? Develop content that will support/be included in executive level presentations and reports to communicate Minimum Requirements:EducationBachelor?s degree in Business, Economics or finance preferablyExperience: ? At least 7-10 years on-the-job experience? GCC experience highly desirableSkills and Knowledge:? Strong understanding of Business Strategy and Operational Planning ? Business Process Management knowledge? Excellent Project Management skills? Six Sigma preferred? SAP Analytics preferred
