Position Summary :Safety Officers are responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employee safety at work. Creating, enacting, and updating job safety programs for employees that encompass government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace. Training employees on the importance of health and safety on the job.Roles & Responsibilities:? Compile safety programs.? Practice safe working techniques.? Implement and maintain health and safety standards.? Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees.? Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.? Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.? Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent.? Identify hazardous waste and disposal of it correctly.? Promote safety initiatives (Training, Demonstrations etc)? Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.? Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management.? Regularly inspect the equipment, worksite.
