Job Purpose:? To ensure timely support for OSIsoft PI Products/Components? To manage IT Applications executed by Business Applications Division? The incumbent shall provide onsite technical support to the (Onshore & Offshore) plant by maintaining the integrity of the OSIsoft components/ servers, ensuring not only safe operation, but also optimized for reliability, availability, and performance.? He/She is expected to investigate problems, design, and implement application modification as instructed by OSIsoft PI Administrator/Lead/Head.? Experience working in the Oil and Gas Domain is strongly preferred. Candidate with Automation background with knowledge of PLC/SCADA/DCS systems will be an added advantage.? Competent user of Microsoft office products including use of Word and Excel Good organizational and time management skills Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and flexibly with a team Able to set priorities proactive and self-directed and manage workloads in order to meet deadlines.? Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods and design details related to plant information systems / Manufacturing Execution Systems / Real Time Information System.? Analytical skills.? Leadership skills (Provide engineering service to identify and appraise solutions for the assigned function).? Proven ability to communicate in technical English with science and engineering peers.? Support OSIsoft PI Products/Components to ensure the system availability & functionality to the users as per the procedure and provide technical support.? Supporting, maintaining, installing, testing, monitoring, upgrading, expanding, modifying and solving malfunctions & problems of the OSIsoft PI Products/Components.? Thorough knowledge of: Hardware, Windows servers, Activate directory & Networking.
