We are looking for Quality Assurance EngineerJob Purpose: The QA Engineer provides leadership, coordination and support of all quality assurance and control activities. The position shall report to the Quality Engineering Specialist, and may be required to act as his delegate as needed. This role is applicable to brownfield and greenfield project quality managementMain Duties/ Accountabilities:? Understand and promote the Clients(Quality Assurance) requirements and supporting compliance procedure expectations.? Establish and support proactive and collaborative working relationships with contractors and applicable third party organisations.? Ensure project plans, procedures and programs are in place in accordance with the Quality Assurance Policy requirements.? Review project scopes of work for CAT IV-VI Projects to determine the necessary extent and frequency of quality verification activities.? Plan, manage, lead and participate in assigned Project QMS verification activities.? Review contractor/ supplier quality deliverables for conformance to Client quality requirements and expectations (I.E. PQP, PEP, ITP, Criticality Rating assessments and QA/QC procedures).? Lead and participate in assigned quality verification activities.? Coordinate site and workshop inspection activities, and assign adequate Client inspection resources to effectively measure conformance to requirements.? Conduct and Lead External quality audits and internal self assessments to gauge the effectiveness of the quality management system? Evaluate and monitor the performance of Client QC inspectors and QC Leads, and identify training requirements to continually improve the performance of the Quality Team.? Steward the NCR process for all identified non-conformance ? including NCR/CAR issue, RCFA, disposition approval and close-out.? Identify quality-related lessons learned, and propose suitable corrective actions to improve work processes and prevent further undesirable conditions/ situations.? Act on behalf of the Quality Engineering Specialist for all project-related quality queries, concerns, issues, plans and progress etc., if required.? Monitor the quality performance of contractors/ applicable third party organisations and communicate project quality metrices and statistics effectively with the project team.? Ensures mechanical acceptance, and completion of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to projects.? Promote the Client company health, safety and environment requirements and ensure that they are adhered to during project activities.
