Our building construction business is looking for an experienced Projects Manager for new developments. The job includes all functions of construction project management - planning, designing, processing, approvals, managing staff, supervising sub-contractors, budgeting, scheduling, progress reporting and timely completion of projects.Requirements:10-15 year experience as Project Manager in Construction Industry preferably in Middle EastAdvanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methodsExpert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standardsExcellent resource, planning, and time management skillsCompetent in conflict and crisis managementLeadership, decision making and human resources management skillsDegree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field from an accredited universityMMUP/UPDA certification is requiredDuties and Responsibilities:Oversee and direct construction projects from conception, completion and hand over.Ensure that projects are completed within set timeframes and within a financial budget.Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.Arrange and lead on regular team meetings with client, architect, consultant, and construction crew.Appointing, managing, monitoring and controlling vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences from appropriate authorities.Deal with matters arising from stakeholders such as environmental and local community issuesOversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.Supervise the team and give them guidance when needed.Review the work progress on daily basis by undertaking site checks and prepare detailed reports.Meet contractual conditions of performance.Analyse, manage and mitigate risks.Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.At times of uncertainty the Projects Manager may be relied upon for his superior knowledge of the industry and specific problems.
