Position: Production EngineerSection: Machinery Company : Nakilat - Keppel Offshore & Marine LtdLocation : Ras Laffan / QatarJob Summary and PurposeTo assist the Manager / Head of Workshop & Afloat / Head of Afloat Repairs in ensuring that the jobs assigned to the section are completed in a manner that is in accordance to the job and safety requirementsKey Accountabilities:1. Ensures compliance on quality, safety and environment requirements in accordance with the Integrated Management System Manual.2. Ensure completion of Machinery work scope which includes raising SCR?s, MTO, WCFs, issuance of foreman chits to various departments, raising all necessary PTWs and TQR or technical queries if required.3. Instructs the supervisors to carry out the jobs and ensure compliance to all necessary documents which also covers TQR or technical queries regarding execution of the jobs or variation on actual scope.4. Monitor and ensure completion of jobs based on plan and budgeted manhours and provide feedback to internal/external customer. Work schedule inputs will also be considered based on inputs of internal customer.5. Participate in various meetings, both internal and external requirements, if required.6. Conducts briefing to the Foreman, Supervisor & Workers, including sub-contractors and monitor compliance of all safety matter, work instructions and procedures.7. Perform other duties assigned.Functional1. Machinery Skills (engine, Deck machineries, dock bottom, pumps or valves knowledge)2. Ability to interpret technical drawings.Qualifications, Experience and Skills? A Diploma or a Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 3 to 1 (Motor Ship), or its equivalent.? At least 4 years of relevant experiences for diploma holders and 2 years of relevant experience for degree holders.? At least 2 years? relevant working experience for Degree Holders and at least 5 years of experience for Diploma Holders (at least 2 years of experience as supervisory role).
