Job Description Process & Risk LeadPart A: Job SpecificationJob PurposeDevelop comprehensive Process and Risk activities including input and review of philosophies, codes of practice and standards during Pre-FEED, commissioning and start-up to ensure compliance with acceptable standards.Review Contractor s Process Safety design and procurement deliverables, monitor equipment manufacture, site installation and testing and oversee contractor, vendors and/or engineering sub-contractors production of associated deliverables within project budget and schedule.Key Job Accountabilities (Max 10, each unique, exclude generic)1. Coordinate Process and Risk project deliverables with contractor personnel, Project Management Team (PMT), operating and project personnel.2. Provide input to technical safety studies (e.g. QRA, HAZOPs, PHA studies etc.) promoting optimum performance.3. Ensure cost effective Process Safety programs are utilised by PMT to improve project efficiency, reduce risk, costs and maintain high quality safety levels and schedules.4. Participate in Process and Risk activities at Contractors offices to align plans and schedules with safety and operational requirements as agreed in project deliverables.5. Monitor contractors Process and Risk procedures to ensure contractor employs adequate numbers of qualified personnel, appropriate design tools including computer hardware and software; adheres to specifications, standards and design verification processes and provides all contract documentation for the relevant scope including accurate and timely progress reporting measures.6. Monitor the schedule and critical milestones developing and managing recovery plans to address any delays.7. Oversee the timely delivery of technical attachments and scope description to all related purchase orders, owning related technical attachments and scope description in relevant contracts.8. Verb Object Outcome.Part B: Person Specification Minimum RequirementsQualificationsBachelor Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety Engineering or equivalent.Knowledge and/or Experience10 years experience within industrial safety and loss prevention in the oil and gas industry with emphasis on risk assessments, safe systems of work, and emergency procedures, preferably in a major project environment.Technical and Business SkillsExcellent written and spoken English skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Good organisational skills.Good computer literacy in professional and technical packages.
