ITSE will be providing first-level support to faculty, students, and staff.? ITSE will assist college staff, faculty and/or students with the application software, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and communication software, web applications, anti-virus and college business application on varied platforms and operating systems.? ITSE will be performing technical and administrative work in the installation of new and existing personal devices and workstations.? ITSE should be able to diagnose and resolve problems in response to end-user reported incidents; confers with end users to determine types of hardware and software required.? ITSE will be installing new hardware and software and maintains existing components.? ITSE should be able to update computer software, as well as upgrading hardware and systems.? ITSE will be training end users in the use of equipment and software; performs general maintenance tasks.? ITSE should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues with user devices and peripheral equipment located throughout the college campuses.? ITSE will prepare progress reports for all work performed.? ITSE should be able to evaluate products for compatibility, expandability, and ease of use and support.? ITSE will be solving logged errors in a timely manner.? ITSE will provide technical telephone support for internal/external end users on a variety of hardware and software problems including operating system support, application support and system access problems? ITSE should be able to use the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system; register the incident in the ITSM and resolve the assigned ITSM tasks on a timely manner.? ITSE Works closely with the second and third levels of the support team.? ITSE will perform other related duties as assigned.? ITSE will provide IT assistance to staff and customers.? ITSE should be able to train end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.? ITSE will be monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.?
