Job SpecificationIdentify, develop, coordinate, expedite and stewardclosure of NFS EPC Contract Interfaces with other RLIC, NFE ProjectEPC?s and Offshore CONTRCTORS.Provides overallguidance and leadership with respect to the Physical interfacesapplicable to NFS EPC Contractin close coordination with the Project & Interface Manager and AreaDivision Manager(s).Ensures activities (including approvals) and interfaces with other NFE Project EPC?s andRLIC are undertaken in accordance with Project and NFS EPC Contractor?s needsin general, and compatible with Project schedule and costobjectives to avoid delays, change orders and claims.Lead all External Project Interfaces with RLICand other NFE EPC?s and Offshore CONTRACTORS, tosecure alignment and expedite approvals as required to meet Project objectives.Represent theinterests of the EPC Contract by attending to all important meetings, includingensuring comprehensive and fully documented actions list and minutes of meetingare prepared and signed by the Parties involved.Support and provideguidance to EPC Contractor for interface matters related to RLIC approvals.Assist in resolution of technical issues with RLIC.Represent theinterests of the EPC Contract by attending to all important meetings, includingensuring comprehensive and fully documented actions list and minutes of meetingare prepared and signed by the Parties involved.The positionshall directly interact with its counterpart at EPC Contractor on the premisethat both COMPANY and EPC Contractor organizations are ?mirroring?.Key Job Accountabilities

  • Manage all technical Interfaces between EPC?s ensurecomprehensive, multi-functional review of all requests and meets Projectobjectives, requirements, and schedule.
  • Assess information on overall InterfaceAgreements (IA) process performance and implement improvements ensuring thatthe process is fit for purpose, accepted by the EPC Contractor, is appropriate,well established and maintained. Manage guidelines and procedures necessary tosupport and control the Interface Agreements (IA?s) process within NFS Onshore Projectorganisation.
  • Plan and organize the interface works andactivities based on identified interfaces and priorities.
  • Provides clear, accurate, timely, and consistenttwo-way communication with other organizations (internal & external) withrespect to the exchange and alignment of interfaces related information anddocumentation.
  • Coordinates inputs from NFS EPC Contractor, Engineering,and construction teams to receive timely approvals of technical work packssubmitted to RLIC.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for the NFSOnshore Project with NFE EPC?s (EPC-1, EPC 2, EPC 3 and EPC 4 Contractors, andother Project Teams and Groups.
  • Promote clear, accurate, timely, and consistentcommunication with internal organizations with respect to transferringinterface information and documentation.
  • Review, coordinate comments to support approvalof the NFS EPC Interface Management Plan, in accordance with the Section 4 ofthe Exhibit 5.
  • Attend Interface Weekly and Monthly meetings;attend to the Project Monthly Meeting with EPC Contractor. Ensure minutes ofmeetings are issued and steward close out of action including update of the InterfacesRegisters and Databases.
  • Timely Identify and report area of concerns orunresolved interfaces issues to the NFS Project & Interface Manager, AreaDivision Manager(s), and other EPC?s Division Project Managers.
  • Responsible for generating weekly and monthlyInterface reports. Provides input to weekly management reports.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering with proven projectmanagement and execution experience including brownfield execution.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience inthe oil and gas industry preferably in LNG industry with a minimum of 5 years ina management position.
  • Proven experience as Discipline Engineer &Interface Engineer.
  • Experience with government agencies, as Companyor EPC Contractor.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills. Ableto write technical reports in English.
  • Previous work experience with Operations and /or QE is an advantage.
  • Previous work experience in Ras LaffanIndustrial City (RLIC) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Valid Qatari Driving License (or eligible toapply)
