The Environmental Engineer is anticipated to assist the HSE Department and will report to the Senior Environmental Engineer. This is the highest organizational IMS/ QHSE level and requires a high standard of professionalism, performance, accountability.Besides coordinating general environmentally-related actions on project sites, the individual will support proactively environmental and sustainability initiatives in line with a wider strategy.The individual is expected to maintain a flexible work-style that adapts to dynamic office tempos with its changing priorities along with project site needs and expectations.? Support Tender documents timely submission by fulfilling environmental requirements;? Develop, communicate, and train the concerned teams with Environmental Risk Assessments linked to the construction activities, as well as Environmental Job Safety Analysis;? Perform regular Site Environmental Inspections & relevant Reporting;? Perform Environmental Internal Audits as part of the IMS certification;? Perform Environmental Aspects & Impacts Assessment as per Project requirements;? Environmental Data collection for timely reporting.? Support to produce a Construction Environmental Management Plan for new projects and set-up the relevant necessary Environmental guidelines and documentation with the Project management Team;? Participation in internal sustainability initiatives and local external workgroups;? Support in the development and further implementation of a ?Waste Management Program?;? Support in development and implementation of an ?Energy Management Program?Skills Requirement:? Strong interpersonal and/or soft skills, and business etiquette to:? Facilitate professional relationships and support the efficient execution of projects requirements;? Realize a positive customer-oriented service experience and the bottom line by enhancing the environmental awareness and propose actions to improve the way operations are conducted? Capable of handling a large, complex workload with minimum supervision, effectively coordinating multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.? Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to articulate and exchange information (i.e., requirements, actions, needs, status, etc.) in a professional tone and attitude to achieve efficient business rhythms.? Capable technical writing and presentation / public speaking skills.
