Job Description

Digitalization System Integrator (DSI) Lead EngineerJob SpecificationDirects the Engineering, Design and Delivery of all aspects of EPC for Digitalization Systems, networks and interfaces including the design of the Onshore Collaborative Center (OCC), in line with Digital Vision.Generating complex technical definition and execution philosophy, selection of technology, planning for detailed design, interface with third party systems and testing/commissioning.Ensures that related technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, Network and Interfaces, etc.) developed during EPC fully comply with project requirements.Collaboration and interfaces with PMT, EPC contractor engineers and operations and IT to ensure that the Digitalization Systems are fully integrated and functional for collaboration in the Onshore Collaborative Center.Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate visible leadership through guiding, mentoring and acting as a role model for Digital Engineers.
  • Review all technical requirements, including detailed design packages, factory testing procedures and constructability of the deliverables.Ensure standardized deployment of Integrated Engineering & Design Environment as outlined in the Project specifications.
  • Reach across disciplines and outside organizations, including; PMT, EPC Contractors, Suppliers and QG-IT (multi disciplines within the organization).Deploy digital culture across disciplines to deliver robust Digitalization enablers.
  • Lead governance of Project?s Master Data Model to ensure standardized execution methodologies are followed by EPC Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and Sub-Suppliers.
  • Consolidate project documentation and data into Digital Twin for Operation.
  • Manage the DSI (Digital System Integrator) and interfaces with; MICC Contractor, TSI Contractor, ELICS Contractor and GTC/GTG Vendor on delivery of Digitalization deliverables and enablers managed.Manage EPC Contractor for standardized Digitalization systems.
  • Drive continuous development of Digitalization Philosophy as new technology emerges.
  • Responsible for validation of all system interfaces, network infrastructure and security of the design across organizations and manage Interface with QG-IT for integration with legacy systems where applicable.
  • Delivery of Digitalization Centre inside OCC including; overall design, layout, hardware/software deployment, and interface with third party systems.
  • Engage with other parallel EPC Digitalization Leads to supply a standardized design.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum15 years for experience in the field of Industrial Control and Safety Systems, Networking, network security and network interfaces with third party systems, including; Business Systems and Networks, Telecommunication Systems and Networks, Digital Data Management Systems on major capital projects.
  • Candidate shall have strong background in Engineering and Design of the following: Complex Control Systems, Machinery Control Systems, Deployment of Digital Enablement Platforms and strategies including selection of software and hardware applications, Asset Management Systems, Electronic Document Management and Business Systems such as: RTIS, SAP, and APC Systems.Digital Twin Engineering and design experience is a major advantage.

  • Applying and procuring visas from appropriate international governing agencies
  • Build and maintain a variety of documentation: including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), run sheets, project plans
  • Oversee all facets of involuntary wage assignment processing
  • Lead administration of Kronos HR and WFC 8.0 applications and platforms, including database and table maintenance, application maintenance and upgrades, licenses, and platform maintenance and upgrades
  • Manage ProQuests instance of SFDC platform for all users including full licenses, Chatter licenses, and LMS licenses including users, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy
  • Assist in maintaining site visit schedule and folders for fall/spring accreditation cycles
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant Subcontract procedures and practices
  • Analyze Mosaics corporate card and travel spend for North America and the international geographies
  • Partnering banks to be applied to employee accounts
  • Assist in determining program evaluators travel logistics prior to site visit team or Evaluation
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for key cloud applications such as Sales, Order and Learning
  • Demonstrate ability to work in team environment and help resolve issues
  • Perform all or some of the responsibilities above as well as other related duties
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to involuntary wage assignments
  • Lead the Subcontracts staff of the Sector to source, negotiate, award, and administer subcontracts in a manner that create a competitive advantage for GDIT
  • Communicate and coordinate site visitors and professional staff members travel needs within AXIOM
  • Using the Kronos Workforce Integration Manager tool and import tools, including business process analysis, design, development and testing
  • Develop business cases that support changes to database and system infrastructure
