A. Accountabilities:? Handle daily IT Systems operational tasks related VMware, SAN Storage and Server Hardware which includes handling Service tickets/events/incidents, investigating and troubleshooting Server or Storage failures;? Support Infrastructure projects team on VMware and Storage related projects which includes but is not limited to DR testing and VMware NSX Project;? Support IS Systems team to document and handover daily operations to Managed service provider;? Ensure service of responsibility are delivered within the agreed Service Level Agreement;? Assist to implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and recommend security changes to system or system components as needed;? Assist IS Infrastructure Systems Teams in maintaining the Server inventory and capacity planning;? Work with stakeholders to resolve computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance;? Ensure that all systems implementation, operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary;? Monitor and troubleshoot the failure events generated in VMware, Server Hardware and Storage with vendor support;? Assess adequate access and security controls are implemented based on the COMPANY Security standards and polices.? Co-ordinate with service provides like EMC, HP, Cisco or any Vendor to replace any field replaceable hardware items.? Support planned and unplanned outages, including the shutting down of a Servers or devices during or the outside Business Hours.? Adhere to the NOC Change Management process to implement any changes in the Systems.? Channelize/Escalate unresolved System issues to appropriate vendors and manage these in accordance with agreed SLA?s to minimize user/system downtimeB. Qualifications:? Above 7 years operational experience in VMware, physical/virtual servers management and Dell EMC Storage;? Subject Matter Expert on VMware and EMC Storage, responsible for designing, configuring, managing, supporting and documenting standard operating procedures and processes;? Support Disaster recovery process for infrastructure components and conduct DR testing to check the system reliability;? Investigate, isolate, and resolve complex infrastructure and system errors autonomously or with the support of vendors with minimal down time;? Good understanding of VMware NSX and Network Fundamentals? Qatar Based with Transferable Residency(NOC)? 1/- Years Contract Renewable.? Must be available on call in case of operational emergencies outside of the normal working hours.
