nderstand the Road Operation and Management Department scope task and target.Coordinate with Internal and External Stakeholders for executing operations and maintenance of road networks in coordination with the Management Consultants (MC)/ contractors.Plan and program road repair works for ROMD in accordance to Frameworks AgreementMonitor Framework Partners work schedules, set priorities and ensure the appropriate assignment of equipment, materials, and personnel. Focus group: Road, ITS and TunnelAdminister, prioritize and oversee major repairs on the road network, oversee assignment maintenance crews to repair networks.Ability to undertake supervisory and inspection ( for contract compliance) tasks as assigned by Lead EngineersWork proactively with the RMD and design consultants to resolve any design related issues.Prioritize projects and assign work to outsourced maintenance crews to repair road networks, taking into consideration criticality of work to be executed.Ensure that incidents / emergencies reported are attended to and resolved by the maintenance contractors or in-house teamsPerform emergency road maintenance and respond to public complaints and requests/ calls received from Customer Contact Centre / Road Management CentrePrepare all specifications for maintenance vehicles and equipment and assists in the purchase of motor vehicles, off road equipment and others, as required.QualificationsBachelor?s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant SubjectEducation qualification obtained from North America, West Europe, AustraliaHolder of Chartered Membership in relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering) would be an advantageHolder of current/valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantageExperience: Minimum 8 years? cumulative experience of road networks including 3 years managing contractors and leading a teamExperience of working in a multidisciplinary Organization preferably in the Middle EastKnowledge and experience in contract managementKnowledge of Signage, Road works, Health and Safety, Environment policies, procedures and regulations. Ability to deliver and support changeCompetent in Microsoft Office Packages and Microsoft Project/Primavera/Ability to learn fast and adapt to the framework system. Understanding of Framework Contracts Agreement are preferredAbility to influence and engage stakeholders and staff at all levels within the OrganizationAbility to communicate verbally and in writing in English is mandatory. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic is preferred
