?The Candidate should be in QatarShould have worked in mercantile marine or professional Navy or closely associated industrial sector for a minimum of 5 years?Work experience in undertaking maintenance tasks & repairs of shipboard mechanical systems on the following (not all encompassing): -?Diesel engines, generators, HVAC, Auxiliary equipment, pumps, pipe systems, hydraulic & steering systems, pneumatic & compressors, purifiers, calorifiers, stabilizers, STP, OWS, RO plants, POL transfer systems, deck machinery, firefighting equipment.?Hands on experience on maintenance essential.?Independently perform preventive & corrective maintenance tasks, identify faults, undertake removal & refitment.?Able to refer technical manuals and drawings of systems.?Able to use tools and testing instruments.?Analyze & determine defects and prepare system to be worked on by a specialist repairman.
