We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a master?s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. The school accountant will have a unique opportunity to leverage their accounting skills while contributing to a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the school and its students across the state. You will be reporting to the Chairman directly , track and report on grant expenditure, contracts and use of restricted food, conduct federal, state and local business, tax licensure and complete annual tax reporting, prepare journal entries, ledger and bank account reconciliation, oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable and lead our annual audit. The school accountant will be interacting with members of Head office and they need to manage the financial processing of employee benefits including insurance and retirement, reconciliation with payroll, and reporting.
