Job Description

Job Summary:The Maintenance & HSE Engineer supports the General Manager in the planning and implementation of the Maintenance Plan and drive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) awareness and compliance throughout the company.Responsibilities:

  • Plan and carry out preventive maintenance schedule and works on plant facilities, equipment and machines.
  • Manage and perform breakdown maintenance on all production CNC machines and equipment, including troubleshooting of electrical, electronic and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Source and manage inventory for spare parts for plant machinery and equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in machine maintenance and electrical systems.
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with external bodies and contractors for site inspections and maintenance works.
  • Co-ordinate and handle all activities pertaining to Health, Safety & Environment, including Statutory and Government related safety and environment matters.
  • Conduct Health, Safety and Environment training to all employees and contractors.
  • Ensure all fire safety equipment are periodically inspected and serviced to maintain its functionality.
  • Conduct fire drills and table top exercises.
  • Enforce and ensure compliance with health & safety rules and regulations throughout the organization.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing workplace safety procedures.
  • Assist in carrying out hazard analysis of major hazardous operations, recommend safe work procedures and follow up on implementation.
  • Ensure all documentation and records are properly maintained.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
