Job Description

SOME OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIntro: Estimation Engineers are responsible for accurately estimating the cost and time required to complete engineering projects. They work with clients and project managers to understand the project?s scope and develop a detailed estimate.

  • Meeting with clients and project managers to discuss the scope of the project.
  • Prepares project cost estimates, evaluate contractors? bids, and recommend the best option to the client.
  • Must have a strong understanding of construction methods and materials and an ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Work with architects and project managers to ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Must have excellent mathematical skills and use different construction software programs to create cost estimates.
  • They should also communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors. Researching to determine the cost of materials and construction workers
  • Uses software programs to generate cost estimates
  • Reviews estimates with clients and project managers
  • Makes revisions to estimates as needed
  • Provides support during the project implementation phase
  • Understands the scope of the project and developing a detailed estimate
  • Works with clients and project managers to ensure that all necessary information is gathered
  • Generates accurate estimates using various software programs
  • Reviews estimates with clients and project managers
  • Adjusts estimates as necessary based on changes in the scope of the project
  • Others as Instruction
