1) Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements and production standards2) Co - ordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve productions problems, maximize products reliability and minimize cost.3) Confer with vendors, staff and management personnel regarding purchases, producers, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities and project status4) Draft and design lay out of equipment, materials, workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer5) Review Production schedules, engineering specifications, order and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, producers and activities6) Communication with management and user personnel to develop productions and design standards7) Estimate production cost and effects of products design changes for management review, action and control8) Formulate sampling producer and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data9) Record or oversee recording of information to ensure currency of engineering drawing and documentation of production problems10) Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organisation charts and project information to determine worker functions.
