Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tank Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As a Tank Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of tanks and related equipment. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that tanks meet safety standards, are structurally sound, and function efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tank engineering, with a focus on designing and analyzing tanks for various industrial applications.Responsibilities:

  1. Design and analyze tanks and related equipment using engineering principles and software.
  2. Oversee the construction and installation of tanks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  3. Conduct inspections and evaluations of existing tanks to identify potential issues and determine necessary maintenance or repairs.
  4. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop cost-effective and efficient tank designs.
  5. Perform calculations and simulations to assess the structural integrity and performance of tanks.
  6. Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports related to tank engineering projects.
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in tank engineering technologies and practices.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in tank engineering, preferably in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of tank design codes and standards, such as API 650.
  4. Proficiency in tank design software, such as PV Elite or TANK.
  5. Experience in conducting structural analysis and simulation using software like ANSYS or ABAQUS.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
