Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Storekeeper to manage all aspects of our inventory and storage facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products while maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized storage area and ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and inspect all incoming materials and products, ensuring accuracy and quality
  2. Prepare and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, and conducting regular inventory audits
  3. Organize and maintain the storage area, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored in a clean and organized manner
  4. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material and product requests in a timely manner
  5. Prepare and package materials and products for shipment, ensuring that all necessary documentation and labeling is completed
  6. Perform regular stock checks to identify any discrepancies or issues, and take appropriate action to resolve them
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies and procedures
  9. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job
  10. Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Proficiency in inventory management software
  7. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  8. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  9. High school diploma or equivalent
  10. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
