We believe in business excellence and through innovative manufacturing technologies, we offer the best products at competitive prices to our customers.An exciting opportunity is available in Rowad Global Packaging Company for a Sr. Supervisor, Safety & Security Based in Dammam and will report directly tosuperintendent, QC & SHEAbout the role:To develop, implement, and enforce company-wide HS&E programs, policies and procedures to promote safe, environmentally friendly and responsible operations and to ensure compliance with local regulations and consistency with international standards.To provide SSHE leadership and ensure that the department has the technical and leadership services, support, and awareness needed to achieve SSHE visions and goals.Assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing best manufacturing practices and quality control; validating processes; providing documentation; managing staff.you will be responsible to:

• Set safety culture and oversees the safety of all direct reports
• Provide leadership for personnel and process safety, risk, security, health, environmental, regulatory, and emergency response/preparedness programs and overall awareness within applicable site/unit/project
• Ensure that the SSHE group is adequately staffed with appropriate skill sets to provide quality SSHE resources and services to site/unit/project.
• Manage OIMS implementation and execution such that unit/project meets or exceeds the Corporate OIMS expectations.
• Develop and steward?s implementation of safety management systems and processes, safety reporting, and incident investigation based on global standards and practices.
• Liaise with other units/projects on SSHE issues to ensure that best practices utilization and continuous improvement processes are in place and effectively applied, as well as identifies synergies/common processes, where appropriate
• Communicate with and advises Senior Management on site/unit/project specific SSHE issues
• Facilitate implementation of risk assessment and management program elements and stewards results for learnings and gap closures.
• Steward regulatory compliance assessments, OIMS assessments, and external stakeholder assessments for best practices and lessons learned
• Develop environmental and regulatory compliance plans and strategies consistent with operating and project requirements
• Coordinate interfaces with Government agencies and external stakeholders on safety, environmental, regulatory compliance and permitting issues

• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within the project area to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Commit to plant safety procedures and work closely with HSE team to ensure all members of the manufacturing plant are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for employees.
• Lead own section and provide expert advice to resolve any escalated issues and ensure execution of audits, assessments and investigations thus spreading HS&E awareness and managing HS&E compliance and associated risks.
• Align the HS&E procedures with corporate strategy to meet or exceed local and international regulations and norms to ensure compliance to regulations and enhance the reputation of Rowad.

• B.S Degree or Diploma in Safety or Engineering fields
• Demonstrated work experience in safety-related positions (including prior manufacturing experience)
• OSHA or Nebosh Certficates is a plus

• Minimum Experience:
• 5 years of Experience in Safety for ( for B.S Degree Holders)
• 8 years of Experience in Safety for ( for Diploma Holders)

• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Leadership skills and training experience
• Proven experience as production planning

• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Behavioral Skills: makes sound decisions, manages risk, strategic thinker.
• Functional Skills: Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, safety management, safety regulations and standards, fundamentals of health, fundamentals of security, environmental standards, regulation development and advocacy, regulatory compliance and permitting.
