  • Making sure that all patrol personnel are allocated to a patrol area and are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring that patrol personnel stay within their patrol boundaries.
  • Being aware of all applicable departmental orders, procedures, and policies affecting proper duty performance.
  • Ensuring the safe and proper operation of all patrol vehicles allocated to you.
  • Functioning as a roving patrol, especially in places or areas frequented by a large number of personnel or trouble zones.
