Job Description

Role Purpose:To perform all quality control testing of manufactured equipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications and international standards and thereby achieve customer satisfaction.Key Accountabilities

  1. Conduct incoming goods inspection and in-process inspection -as assigned ? and report the defects / non-conformities to the relevant industrial function to make the correction accordingly.
  2. Review all drawings & testing requirements for each finished goods to prepare for conducting final inspection properly.
  3. Conduct final inspection on manufactured product/equipment under the supervision of senior QC engineer & report the defects ? if any- to the relevant industrial function to make the correction accordingly.
  4. Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on final products/equipment under the supervision of senior QC engineer to get customer release.
  5. Complete and file all testing documents for finished goods.
  6. Observe and ensure that all local legislation and company rules for Health and Safety are obeyed at all times.
  7. Ensuring that testing equipment being used is within calibration and raises a flange if calibration is expired.
  8. Meet or exceed the set targets of standard QC hours allocated per product type.
  9. Set a plan for testing activities to avoid rework and achieve the high-quality output
  10. Handle customer during the phase of FAT to satisfy his testing requirements according to set testing plans.
  11. Support field service team (upon request) to ensure proper equipment operation during start-up and commissioning.
