Purchase and expedite materials/equipments in line with specified strategy, cost, quality, and delivery targets from local market.
Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems that may impact business operations. Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
Monitor and advise on any issues that present risks or opportunities to the organization. Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
Work closely with others in the procurement function and report opportunities for continuous improvement and business enhancements.
Report issues of concern regarding trends. Highlight critical concerns, along with potential recommendations for improvement.
Ensure compliance with current procedures, internal controls, policies, laws, rules, and regulations.
Adhere to any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of oneself, staff, and visitors.
