Deliver lectures and oversee the activities and practical sessions in the department
Oversee research conducted by students. Suggest books and references that will help them to conduct research, which are up to date and in accordance with scientific guidelines
Hold onto traditions and fundamental university work principles and plant these into the students
Encourage and support direct contact with students. Assist with academic guidance and protecting their social, cultural and sports interests
Maintain order within the classrooms, lectures and workplaces. Submit a report to the Head of Department about anything that falls short of order and what was done to deal with it
Submit a report to the Head of Department about their academic and research activities that they undertook and published and research that they are undertaking
Participate in College Councils and Committees
Participate in academic conferences, workshops and training sessions for the department and colleges. Work towards participation in internal and external conferences and various research projects
Undertake theoretical and practical research work
Mark for courses that they teach or that they are asked to participate in
Undertake exam duties that they are assigned to. This includes supervising and all duties that it includes
Supervise fieldwork of students based on the organizational procedures for the department and colleges
Prepare course files for the courses that they teach or co teach
Participate in awareness programs for quality assurance, and organizational recognition and participate in learning self-assessment
Participate in developing the vision and mission of the college and specifying their strategic goals
Participate in growing and developing the local community and practical participation in community responsibility programs
Assigned tasks by the Head of Department or Dean of the College.
