Job Description

1.1 Job summary:The Toolpusher is responsible for all operations on the rig site and direct the workers, and provides support for the drilling operations, working in tandem with other company leaders in the aggressive and successful growth of the company?s drilling business.1.2 Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Be responsible to receive drilling supervision instructions and organize the safety products for the team.
  • Monitor rig drilling operations.
  • Conduct inspection and management of drilling tools, downhole tools, accident handling tools, rental tools, casing and casing accessories, casing heads, trees, special working tools, etc.
  • Work closely with project staff to improve operation KPI and HSE performance.
  • Implement the client and SINOPEC HSE and operation policies, requirements, and regulations in drilling project.
  • Assist rig managers, security officers to do staff dynamics, third-party staff accommodation management and vehicle management.
  • Be responsible for filling in, collecting, archiving and reporting data such as drilling daily reports and IADC statements.
  • Be responsible for well control management.
  • Be responsible for working during the relocation period.
  • Assist with the labor management of the production team, and cover the platform manager when needed.
  • Support and participate in the organization?s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001:2015/API Q2 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.
  • Understand the implications of not conforming with QMS requirements.
