A membership consultant objective is to drive guests (non-members) into the gym to deliver industry-leading customer service to them and our current members. This service must translate into exceeding personal revenue targets issued by management through both internal and external prospective. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Club General Manager. You will work in a demanding environment as part of a small team, dealing with all inquiries both in-person and over the phone.PRINCIPAL DUTIES:?Revenue:oEnsure the entire team and personal goals are met or exceeded each month in:oNew Member Sales Revenue.oNew Membership Sales Units.oRenewal Revenue.oRetention Rate of Existing Members.Lead Generation:oEnsure constant and active lead generation through:oOutside of the gym, marketing promotions and prospecting.oInternal prospecting and gathering of referrals.oInternal and external event planning.Appointment Booking:oDeliver the right amount of phone activities to book enough membership appointments to exceed each month?s appointment goals given by management.oEnsure that phone activity translates into enough guests to exceed each month?s guest goal given by management.oLog the appointments in the system as per Company?s procedures.Membership Presentations:oEnsure that 100% of our members are presented when touring guests around the club.oPresent the club Baseline, introduce new members with class schedules and Fitness Team.Membership Retention:oEnsure that each member experiences excellent customer service.oEnsure the retention targets are met through follow up calls, check in calls, renewal calls and regular face to face communications in the gym.oCreate or assist in creating retention plans.Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analyses.Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and recommendations for new products and services.
