? Good experience maintenance and repair of onboard ship generator set? Preferable with Caterpillar and Cummins Engines Experience? Familiar with ship?s rules, regulations and staff duties? Identify problems with machineries using diagnostic equipment? Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, and power train systems? Assemble mechanical components according to specifications? Repairing, overhauling of rotating machinery pumps, compressors, centrifuge, gearboxes and turbines? Reading and understanding drawings, manuals and code specifications? Prepare necessary service reports and checklist for all works? Responsible in maintaining the workplace tools in good order and good housekeeping? Aware of all working safety regulations and wear a personal protective equipment.? Quality, safety, health and environment regulations? Able to use a precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit.? Physical fitness and able to travel and carry out offshore jobs? Willing to work any day of the week, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts? Proven work experience as marine mechanics? Able and willingness to travel and carry out jobs on Vessels, Rig, Platform or Drillship? Welding skill and good knowledge in operating workshop heavy duty equipment? Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces? Able to adjust to change including the use of shared facilities.? Physical fitness and able to work effectively with others while working in harsh conditions. ? Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities.
