Plans for job execution by reading, studying and interpreting basic job information and documents including work orders, blueprints, specifications, locations of surfaces, tolerances in addition to interpreting and converting geometric dimensioning in Imperial/SI?systems of measurement.??????? ?Plan and organize the work in predictable/routine environment for limited range of turning operations by applying appropriate cutting parameters, measuring instruments and check for work result.??????? Set CNC lathe machine, in order to perform turning operations on metal components as per specification.??????? Verify CNC machine settings by using simulation software.??????? Preliminary check ensuring readiness: e.g. machine is clean, material availability, lubrications are functioning, coolant level is correct, sub-systems are working correctly, confirmation received that the machine is ready for production, received necessary instruction/training on specific operation of the machine, etc??????? Use different cycles and subprogram for stock removal, boring, threading and grooving in part program???????? ?Operate CNC turning machine and produce components as per drawing.??????? Bore soft jaws for holding components on CNC machine.??????? Perform all necessary quality checks during production and follow procedures when defective parts are discovered??????? Documents actions by completing production and quality logs also report production issue(s) if any.??????? Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repair.??????? Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.??????? Contribute and play a role in housekeeping and cleanliness of all work areas to ensure that the workplace is clean, safe, well organized and pleasant for work??????? Use required personal?protective?equipment?(such?as?steel?toe?shoes,?ear?and?eye?protection).???????
