Plans for job execution by reading, studying and interpreting basic job information and documents including work orders, blueprints, specifications, work sequences, material requirements, locations of surfaces, tolerances in addition to interpreting and converting geometric dimensioning in Imperial/SI?systems of measurement.??????? Translate instructions into computer commands and verify CNC machine settings so the machine can perform the correct functions as per planned. In case of conventional NC?machine input the instructional data by which the sequence of processing steps? can be carried out into the NC system?s machine control unit (MCU)??????? Prepare and check stock inventory to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.??????? Adjust and correct machine set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.??????? Manipulate controls and observe dial indicators to monitor, adjust, and regulate speeds of machine mechanisms??????? Set distance points between rolls, guides, meters, and stops, according to specifications.??????? Calculate draft space and roll speed for each mill stand to plan rolling sequences and specified dimensions and tempers.??????? Start operation of rolling machines after setting controls for speed, feeding rate and loading the machine with metal materials.??????? Observe to ensure that the metal is shaped?properly and examine, inspect, and measure finished products to verify conformance to specifications.??????? Perform all necessary quality checks during production and follow procedures when defective parts are discovered??????? Documents actions by completing production and quality logs also report production issue(s) if any.??????? Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repair.??????? Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.??????? Contribute and play a role in housekeeping and cleanliness of all work areas to ensure that the workplace is clean, safe, well organized and pleasant for work???????
