Job Description

Job Summary: As the Logistics Foreman for our site operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all logistics activities to support smooth and efficient project execution. Your leadership will ensure that materials, equipment, and resources are managed effectively to meet project timelines and requirements.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:
  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment at the project site.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization and storage of materials to prevent loss or damage.
  1. Logistics Coordination:
  • Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, loading/unloading, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to support construction activities and project milestones.
  1. Resource Allocation and Utilization:
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and manage logistics resources, such as vehicles, tools, and facilities, to support operational needs.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for logistics personnel and site workers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics operations.
  1. Team Leadership and Supervision:
  • Supervise and lead a team of logistics staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to achieve operational goals and project objectives.
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate logistics activities and support project planning and execution.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/vendors to resolve logistics-related issues and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  1. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
  • Identify logistics challenges and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Make informed decisions regarding resource allocation, logistics priorities, and contingency planning.
