1.???????????To supervise the lab staffs (lab technicians & plant attendant & etp operators) works and maintain proper lab environment that comply with Quality standards (ISO, Qualanod, Qualicoat & Qualidico)2.???????????To follow up the reports of daily laboratory activities and sings them after checking the results. Analysis of critical chemical parameter of bath3.???????????To follow up the lab technicians to do the necessary adjustment of the process bath based on the bath analysis results.4.???????????To ensure the maintenance of parameters of anodizing plant, vertical paint line,?effluent treatment plant & DI plant within defined control limits5.???????????Overall responsibility of the Effluent Treatment Plant, to make sure that the out let treated water are within the allowable range of PH and well treated as required by the control limit of Government authorities6.???????????Over all responsibility of the DI plant, follow up with lab technician regarding the operation, maintenance and trouble shooting. To make sure the DI outlet always giving required quality water7.???????????Overall responsibility of the chemical yard, monitor the chemical yard by implementing and maintaining the FIFO technique to make sure expiry of chemical. Monthly chemical inventory and maintain minimum stock of the chemicals. Housekeeping and cleanliness of chemical yard8.???????????Responsible to follow up with any chemical issues and problems that happen on Anodizing and paint line and ensure no report of rejection of materials during production due to chemical bath problems9.???????????To follow up with Lab technician to make sure that all the chemical and mechanical quality test are done as per the required frequency as mentioned in the ISO.?Responsible for weight loss test of anodizing and oven test of paint line & wood finish10.?????????To maintain minimum stock of the laboratory reagents & apparatus11.?????????To maintain the Surface Treatment process in accordance with all quality requirements like ISO, Qualanod, Qualicoat & Qualidico (Responsible for maintaining the surface treatment plant as per the quality standard)12.?????????Maintain calibration of all laboratory instrument and equipment13.?????????Trial of new products in anodizing and paint line14.?????????Control of chemical consumption and cost15.?????????Verification of technical details of the quoted products/chemicals given by the procurement for the suitability of its use. And to ensure the quality of incoming chemicals to accept/ reject the material16.?????????Prepare relevant reports to concerned government authority regarding chemicals usage/storage etc17.?????????Overall responsibility to make sure that all lab staffs are following the safety rules and using the necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)18.?????????Over all responsibility to maintain the house keeping of the laboratory in a proper and clean manner19.?????????Any other related work assigned by Surface Treatment Supervisor / Plant Manager
