Job Description

Job Title: IT SupervisorWe are seeking an experienced IT Supervisor to oversee our IT operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Workspace administration, IT log management, and backup solutions.Responsibilities:

  • Google Workspace Administration:
  • Manage and administer Google Workspace , including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and other collaboration tools.
  • Configure user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure security and productivity.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace users.
  • Stay updated with Google Workspace updates and implement new features as appropriate.
  • IT Log Management:
  • Develop and maintain systems for logging and monitoring IT infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Analyze logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Implement log management best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Backup Solutions:
  • Design, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and systems.
  • Conduct regular backups and test restore procedures to ensure data availability and integrity.
  • Monitor backup systems and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime and data loss risks.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Coordinate IT projects and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the IT team.
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of hardware, software, and networking infrastructure.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration and support, with a focus on Google Workspace, IT log management.
  • Certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
