Job Description

Position Summary: Universal Cold Stores ? Prime, is actively recruiting for an experienced Information Technology Manager who has the technological skills to make us even more efficient. This person will analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term effect on our overall growth.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following:ResponsibilitiesAnalyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisionsEnsure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutionsAnalyze processes, technologies, and vendors to continue to find areas for improvementPrepare cost-benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they?re offering the best possible service and value for business needsTrain employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when neededDevelop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain an IT roadmap
  • Manage annual IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Oversee all phases of projects from conception to completion
  • Serve as the technical lead or project manager for system implementation projects
  • Bring consistency to project execution and life cycle management of systems
  • Manage all aspects of the implementation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization, including software applications, network, phone systems and end-user computers
  • Manage vendor software solutions including developing and monitoring software, maintenance plans, and developing and ensuring adherence to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead IPO preparation for information technology with collaborating effectively and efficiently with external stakeholders and internal stakeholders and various department functions.
  • Lead to handle indicated points and questions by the external stakeholders with regards to IT.
  • Lead to involve internal IT dept. to prepare and submit appropriate documents and answers.
