Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using [specific software/tools, e.g., ERP systems, WMS].
Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts, shipments, and receipts.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, and overstock situations.
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Generate and analyze reports on inventory metrics, including turnover rates, aging stock, and fill rates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.
Assist in the implementation of new inventory management systems or tools.
Provide support during peak seasons or special projects as needed.
